When the very first mall in Bucharest plans a relaunch following extensive renovations, you know you need to aim big. Historically, this was the first place to have a 3D cinema, the first to gather famous brand in one place and the first to offer an integrated entertainment experience.Our challenge was to revive the image of Bucuresti Mall and put it back in its rightful place: the go-to leisure place for people in Bucharest.
The relaunch experience needed to bring the place back to life.So we crafted an extensive campaign to spread the word on every main channel: OOH, radio, special executions, as well as personalized cinema ads.
Outdoor meshes all over Bucharest announced the most important event of the year at BM.
Radio and online promotion
Extensive Social Media campaigns targetted to București Mall-Vitan’s audience fired up the interest for the event.
For shopping aficionados there were special sales, and shops kept their doors open long into the night.
Famous artists whose stunning performances brought over 10k people at the relaunch event: Loredana Groza, Passione Qwartet, and Extreme Act – hosted by Daniel Buzdugan.
Sales and mall traffic went up following the event – traffic in the mall doubled compared to the average number of visits in that time of the year.
This was not just an event that became the talk of the town, but also mid and long term results followed the relaunch.
